I had them ALL!!! Even the not so amazing TOCA World Touring Cars. T 1and 2 were def th best for BTCC goodness!! I miss Thruxton... if peopledon't mind going round boring ovals then why not Thruxton? And Knockhill was always a cool circuit to drive, though that appeared on RD1 , th last to run BTCC cars sadly.
I still maintain that Forza has the best representation of SilvertoneI've seen. And GRID does a MEAN Donington!!!! ;) (Complete with 'bacon and sausges' billboard above the grid hehe!)
Do you want to go faster?

Even on the good old PS2 the game is brilliant,it's got everything you want ,the cars ,tracks.Remember the first Toca, they had all the BTCC cars.Whoever used to work for them in those days...please give him his job back ...PLEASE !!

Im a huge BTCC fan and I just finished watching the Oulton Park week end!

I asked Ralph Fulton what were his plans regarding "TOCA", as well as DTM, V8SC etc etc, if he considered making one game for each series like Simbin with the FIA GT (GTR) or WTCC (Race) but he "couldnt comment on that".

I hope we get BTCC back in video games, maybe from simbin, they'll soon release the STCC game.

###Latest News on RACE PRO ###

I have some more inside info from my friend James at GAME.According to the Atari rep he knows ,RACE PRO could be out at the end of November/begining of December. Also the 15 tracks it mentions will be famous tracks like Monza and Brands Hatch with there shortend versions as well,so that means more tracks in theory but at 15 venues.

If I remember right, the deal Codemasters had with ToCA expired last year - it was a ten year licensing deal. Codemasters did not renew it, which meant they couldn't use the ToCA name again, and given that they did bugger all with it since the early naughties, I doubt they will.

Which means that the license is up for grabs. Simbin, you listening!?
If in doubt, flat out - Colin McRae

Interesting, that would explain why mister Fulton wouldn't tell me s**t about that...
Now, ho matter how much I (think I) love Simbin, I don't know if I'm ready to see a BTCC, STCC, WTCC, DTC whatever-in-the-world-TC which would look almost identical...

But yeah...BTCC, I'd buy it straight even at 100€ and FINALLY PUT GORDON SHEDDEN AT THE TOP !! and Tom Chilton in the barriers, where he belongs.

Interview on jeuxvideo.com (dont bother it's in french).
The guy claims that RACE Pro will become the top sim on the 360, better than Forza 2, he insisted on the physics and sound which are said to be the best ever made for a racing game!

13 circuits, 48 cars and 350 liveries.
Coming in november.

Oh yeah he said we'll be able to make online championships...goooooooooooodness, 3 wide coming into graham hill bend at brands' with the WTCC cars...can't wait :!: :!: :!:

If it's anything like RACE 07 on the pc, which it is looking likely, you should be able to do qualifying and warm up all in the same lobby,so much better than Forza.I also hope that they haven't got the magnetic grass problem that Forza suffers from ,I just hate the way your car is pulled off the track by the grass if you dare put a wheel on it,its really annoying! It's definately looking like a excellent side championship to replace GRID which I would be more than happy to run,and with F1 comming next year looks like Forza might take a back seat!

It really does, the game's page on the french version of the Atari website says that DLC is planned, free and not free, and as you say it looks a lot like a mixture of GTR, Race and GT Evolution so they have plenty of content to add whenever they want through downloadable content, hopefully not too expensive.

This should give the game legs and keep the fans waiting until Forza 3 and a couple other simulations.

Ok guys, I've got a bit of informations/confirmations for the highly anticipated Race Pro, there you go:

-A demo is coming, possibly October
-Online qualifications
-Online Race week-end creation
-Can put up to many many laps
-No safety car
-Anti noob system , I mean against guys who want to drive the opposite way etc etc
-Pit strategy
-Lobby creation, we can name the lobby, put password etc
-Trueskill system apparently not (yeah!)
-Money earnings
-Contracts
-Flags (yellow, green, checkered...)
-Mechanical incidents
-No tutorial but lots of infos/explanations

That's all I know, please don't take it all for granted, we'll see what the full game offers but all that should be in.

YEAH :!: :!: :!: :D
