Seems like its more Seat Cupra Cup than BTCC now with all the drop outs.Fingers crossed some re-join later in the championship.

Mind you look at the BTCC back when BTC regs first came in and it was basically a Vauxhall race...or in 2000 when it was Ford Ford Ford Vauxhall Vauxhall Vauxhall Honda Honda Honda......as long as the racing is close...ish we can still have a good series. :)

I would expect that line from a SEAT man like yourself  .Its funny how they all take 3years at being at the top before a new make take over.Ive never noticed that before.Good spot Jenson!.Mmmmm does that mean Vauxhall for another two years then??

No no I meant in the year 2000 the results were very much like that becaus you only had the three works cars against a few little independants. Its no wonder the Super touring regs died a death when we were getting results like that.
Mind you you look at the WTCC today and most of the top drivers ALL come from BTCC. Priaux, Thompson, Huff, Rydell, Menu, Tarquini, and Yvan Muller. And don't forget multi Le Mans winner Tom Kristensen...most of these guys were racing in Super touring days. So it attracted the drivers just not the manufacturers sadly.

Have to say that although it looks like Giovanardi IS going to run away with it this year...or should do, the number of winners is still good. I still very much wish the 320si would be added to the game just to make the series abit more realistic.
