Round 4 results

Postby BDR Marchie on Sun Jul 06, 2008 10:02 pm

Lobby 1:

1 X3R Monkey
2 X3R Basco
3 Marchie
4 Vortex
5 Selective Rogue
6 Highcroft

Luckier (Froze - need clarification from Jenson about this!)
Champion (DNF)

Amazing start to the race. Great action, and Selective Rogue gave some of the best defending i have ever seen, keeping X3R monkey, me, and Luckier behind him for about 5 laps. Also, well done to Vortex. Although he was still far off me at the end, i was putting in some fast laps and the distance still remained constant!

I apologize if anyone had any problems due to my hosting. Somehow, the NAT settings got changed from open to moderate and I wasn't able to hear to talk to some of you and I had problems telling you guys of the lobby change. I will most likely connect my xbox straight to the modem next race.

Results LOBBY 2

1st CUUGE
2nd Iammr
3rd KR50ne
4th TVR Fan
5th Clay Gryphon
6th Pr3dator
7th fxgallardo DNF
8th LilMissNephnie DNF

I've put fxgallardo 7th and LilMissNephnie 8th only because I think LilMissNephnie dropped out first( if thats wrong let me or Culchi know).Don't know if you will be awarded points, will have to check with Culchi.
It was a messy race for me,it started with bad lag and we had to start the race again. After the restart I got off to a good start only to give TVR the slightest of love nudges in the final corner of lap 1 which put me and him at the back. Then what with some tussles and lag again which I came out worst with, managed to scrape 5th thanks to Pr3dator's gallantry on the last lap letting me pass him. That said there was some close racing at times especially with K50NE and that last lap was really exciting.Well done to all ,great race.

big battle at the front yesterday. I knew monkey was slightly faster than me but due to a messy start he dpopped out to 5th place and i could pull away in front.

I had a 6 seconds advantage after 3 laps when he came back second. Then i made the only mistake just before the little hill climb that cost me 5 sec. He was right back on my tail.

Then came a fierce battle but i couldn't defend firtst place. He passd me on the straight in the 18th lap.

Well done Monkey

It's a shame that luckier and champion couldn't finish. They were also very fast.

the rules state you must still be running with 2 laps to go in order to score points.

Clean and fair racing from start to finish, the S5 was pretty well suited to the track and it worked out well for me.

Basco resisted very well in the V10 Viper, it's a shame Luckier and Champion left the race... see you guys in Road Atlanta, will be a different story there with the huge back straight.

Nephnie has told me about yesterday so Im gutted that she wasn't able to capitalise on her strong start to the race... sounds like she was doing ok and having fights with PR3D. Reall man! You should know better than to pick on a girl!
She says she dropped out on lap 12 but that is of course irrelevant. Real shame she didn't get to finish higher, I KNOW the car would go well coz I set it up for her!! She said she was running consistanly in the podium positions before the console froze so thats bad.

Anyway, I'l be bac for the next one, wouldn't miss Road Atlanta for anything!!
Do you want to go faster?

Yeah, i was suprised at how fast she was going.

I was having loads of fun, i kept getting past TVR and then letting him back past so i could overtake him again! :D
