I know jimmy probably isn't going to b using his very nice paint job but I have a pic of the base for what mine will be looking like.
It's changed a little bit since this shot was taken but you'll get the idea.

After Sundays race i spoke to a few of the guys still on & they were pretty interested. Only problem for most people seems to be a lack of time.

Reckon there's not much chance that this'll get of the ground before the seasons out, and to be honest i think half a season would be a bit daft. Might be easier to organise this for another night, maybe we could all agree on one. Then maybe make it a seperate series altogether. Maybe even something like the British Touring cars, similar spec to the focus, although a lot of the cars actually featured in that series are not available on Forza, but i'm sure some compromises could be sorted.

I might do a wee series myself, save Jenson the hassle of organising. Or if possible attach it to this one directly, utilising this forum & hopefully getting most drivers signed up to BritGT to take part.

Really needs everyones agreement & interest or obviously there's no hope.

Cheers

Jimmy

that would be awesome if you could, maybe then we could get it moving by making it more public. What do you think of the BTCC idea???

well we have forza2britishgt.com available to us if you want to run the new series from that. that way we are building up brand awareness of both series. and it'd be easy to swap from one to the next

I was trying to start a season 2 of my series I ran a couple of months ago. It will either be a classic endurance series (cars from the 1990s) like last season, or a series based on the GT4 class if anyone would be interested. If not, I would be happy to run in a BTCC series.

Last season started off pretty good but a lot of people were busy in the last few races.

FINALLY a chance to run my BTCC babies!!!

I have the following complete BTCC liveries available to use: If anyone wants to buy/borrow one they could:

2007 Jason Plato SEAT Sport UK
2007 M Jordan Eurotech JG Honda Integra
2006 D Pinkney Motorbase Honda Integra
2005 Y Muller VX Racing Astra Sport Hatch
2003 A Priaux Honda Racing UK Civic Type R

Should also have a 2006 James Kaye Honda Civic floating around somewhere.
(still waiting on that 320si for the BMW's!!)
I would be fully behind setting his up alongside the BGT. Its no different to running the F3 alongside it in real life so yeah it'd be cool.
I can add a dedicated section/sections to it on the forums aswell.

How we progressing with this then?
I'm still keen on the BTCC idea, ties in nicely with the BGT too.
I have some good BTCC logod on the go now, so I have the 08 HiQ logos, and the number tags, and a pretty good 'BTCC on ITV 4' logo that you can see where the number plates go.

I'm going to pre-empt a few things here and start re-organising the forums to include S2 of the BGT and the BTCC support series if thats ok with everyone?

Here's the '08 logos on Mike Jordans Integra.....

i got an idea how bout supercopa league? now the car can be downloaded we could leave it completly standard being only a couple more p.i than current btcc spec. i got a design from the european version already on the btcc effort not sure i can swap it over yet.
