PRACTICE SESSSION REVIEW

Postby fir3start3r uk on Sat Apr 19, 2008 4:26 pm

''i must admit im beginning to regret picking the porche gt3, i love its power but the handling is realy starting to grind on me, i mean porches aint the easiest cars to drive at the best of times and with no downforce upgrades available on the gt3 im always on the edge of my seat wresteling it thro the corners, im gona try stick with it as iv done alot of testing already and dont want to start again with a new car but if things dont improve i might have to look elsewhere later in the season"

During my own tests I quickly have put the GT3 aside due to the lack or adjustable downforce at the rear, it really is stupid, I mean who has never seen those wings they put on the standard wing of the Porsches?? just like what you can do with the 997T. This really makes the 996/997 GT3 a very difficult car and unless you run on Road America you will have a hard time in the corners, especially on a twisty track like Siverstone International, which is where the BGTC is starting this year.

If you want to stay loyal to Porsche, get a 997 Turbo, 4wd and adjustable downforce will help you.

Your GT3 looks fantastic though.
