Forza2 British GT Championship

Race day will proceed as follows & is based on two lobbies.

Drivers will be randomly sorted into two lobbies for qualifying.

Qualifying will consist of a 4 lap race allowing:
1 warm up lap
2 flying laps
1 cool down

At the end of lap four all drivers must stop prior to crossing the finish line to allow fastest lap times to be recorded. Drivers will then cross the line from fastest to slowest, giving the starting order for Race 1. Lobbies will not change for 1st race & points will be awarded equally over both lobbies giving the opportunity for all drivers to score towards their championship.

Race 1. 10 lap sprint - no pits



Race 2 will see the fastest drivers from both lobbies grouped & the slower drivers grouped seperately. Points will only be scored by drivers finishing in scoring positions i.e from 1st to 10th.

Race 2. 10 lap sprint - mandatory pitstop


Race 3 will see a reversed order in both lobbies. Finishing positions will be noted and new lobbies created. A single lap race with each driver crossing the line in the reverse from his Race 2 finishing position will sort the grid order for the final race. Point scoring will be the same as Race 2.

Race 3. 10 laps - madatory pit - reverse grid order

Throughout each Race day ( all 3 races ) points can also be scored for setting fast laps. The top 5 laps from each race, regardless of your lobby, will score points as explained in the rules.


This will all be made possible by the help of lobby captains ( myself & jenson ?? ) and each participant. Everyone should note fastest laps and positions for each of 3 races to facilitate lobby sorting and to help with the overall scoring system.
