After yet another poor performance at Laguna Seca,Team owner Clay Gryphon has ended his contract with Audi .His constant battle with the cars horrendous understeer problems has finally taken it's toll on this driver,His comments were....[Quote]' As i'm probably the oldest driver here,the last thing you want is a car you don't feel confident in.When you turn into a corner you want it to be responsive.I'd rather be slow and have confidence in the car than slow and have no confidence in the car.'...Quite strong words from the veteran of the series.Clay will now sign with Lambourghini and take his seat in the Gallardo..[Quote.]' I've done some testing and the car is much better,I feel more confident and don't feel like i'm wrestling it round the track.My times are about the same at the moment but I'm more consistant and therefore hopefully quicker in a race'.
