If you haven't already please read the rules & regs thread and also the car list thread.

This section is for us to discuss this information prior to the season commencing in order that we can create a fun and exciting alternate race to our BGT. But for this we really need your input and any ideas you may have will be viewed with an open mind as nothing as yet is final.

So if you have a problem with the rules, think a particular car should be added / taken away, reckon the points system needs adjusting then just post it here and let us all know :)

Looking good thus far Jimmy :D
Should be onto a winner here! The only small issue I have at the mo is the FULL Forza pack as the rear end really does stop it looking like a proper BTCC car. The exhausts don't come out the bumper and they don't have diffusers either.
FM2 rear wing and front bumper work I agree with whole-heartedly.

Looks like my Integra might get a run after all...or maybe my Leon ;)

I sort of wanted to use cars that were actually in the series or similar cars if they don't have it in Forza. If they run similar lap times, I don't think it should matter that the M3 has a bigger engine than a Civic. I was wanting a car list like this.

Vauxhall Astra VXR
BMW M3 Coupe
Honda Civic (Si Coupe, Type R)
SEAT Leon Cupra
Chevrolet Cobalt SS
Honda Integra Type R
Lexus IS300

I concurr.
I'd also add a couple of extras from the WTCC (as they are shared S2000) regs:

That would add in the:

1: Ford Focus ST (Ran in the WTCC for two years)

2: BMW M3 (the last one!) Martyn Bell used one for the last two years in BTCC

3: SEAT Leon Cupra R I know not strictly BTCC but allows for Team Air Cool reps

4: VW Bora (Could run as a Proton Impian replacement. Looks similar too.)

Thats if you only go for cars ACTUALLY running in the BTCC/WTCC from 2002 onards There's quite a shortage of half decent touring car machinery at the mo. The BMW's being the biggest casualty.

780 ON bmw is full breaks roll cage etc areo kit slicks are pirelli come to 780, its not two much and would make us a bit diffrent from the forza euro touring cars as they run at 750, would mean anyone could be like beta max vs VHS

Good to see that people are responding.
I'll ansnwer your questions in order they were asked:-

1. I agree with Jenson regarding the Forza2 rear bumper. The rules will be changed to state that only the Forza2 front bumper & rear wing MUST be installed.

2. Highcroft, all of those cars are included except the BMW.

3.Jenson, same for you, all those cars are included except the BMW

4. TLM the PI cant go to 780, well it can obviously, but there is no way for it to be enforced when creating a room on Forza2.

5. If the BMW's allowed everyone will want one. Its by far & beyond the best car of the lot IMO. After all ready completing a 750 PI tourny i know this, the 4 guys competing that had them finished 1st to 4th. I'm only trying to organise through experience. Anyways once you put full weight reduction on the Beemer it wont qualify, no matter what the PI is.

Hope this answers your Q's, keep em coming.

So the Lexus IS300 is allowed because that is what I was planning on using.

If by Lexus IS300 you mean the Toyota Altezza RS200 then yes. Anything else no.

If a car falls within the rules that we have then yeah you can use it i suppose. But please post up which cars and we'll have to have a look and see. You've got to remember the weight limit and power limit too, and it all has to fit into PI750.

Highcroft, disregard that post before. I was on the train and not thinking straight. Forgot Lexus was even in the game. You can use your Lexus

i' d be happy enough with those tracks. Although this being a support series it should generally follow the same schedule as our own BGT. The race calender isn't sorted as yet so we can look at doing something like that.

To be honest some tracks might be too long and drawn out for the 750PI cars, so smaller tracks might be more interesting. Something to consider.

After looking through the tracks completed this year i reckon we'll probably run with something similar to what TLM has proposed above, probably with the exception of Black Mamba ( no pits ).

So here goes.

Maple Valley
Sunset Infield Reverse
Suzuka East
Road Atlanta
Mugello Short
Sebring Short
Laguna Seca
Road Atlanta Short
Silverstone National
Maple Valley

Aslong as everyones happy this should be our venues, although until i get more feedback about everyones preferred day / time i'm unable to produce a calender.

Again this is still open to suggestions so if your not happy just tell us.
