WHAT A RACE WHAT A RACE INDEED IF I WAS A BODY SHOP REPAIR MAN I WOULD HAVE BEEN RUBBING MY HANDS TOGETHER WITH GLEE BECAUSE I GOT HIT THAT MANY TIMES IT WAS AS IF I WAS AT A BANGOR RACE MEETING I WANT SOME ONE TOO LOOK AT THE FOTTAGE OF THE FARCE OF A RACE IN B LOBBY FOR WHICH I SHOULD NOT HAVE EVEN BEEN IN AS I SET A LAP TIME WELL FASTER THAN ANYONE ELSE IN THAT LOBBY THERES ROOM FOR 8 PEOPLE IN EACH LOBBY SO WHY PUT 6 IN EACH WHEN I COULD HAVE BEEN IN A LOBBY .... IM NOT HAPPY 1 BIT WITHTHE BRIT GT AS IT SEEMS TO BE GOING TO THE DOGS AT THE MOMENT.

The lobbies are set in a manner which allows for a number of cars to compete closely and by that I mean MORE THAN THREE?
I appreciate that you have had a bad experience and it will of course be looked into but slagging off the series doesn't help.
I'd suggest restraint before posting for an enquiry.
We need footage, pics, statistics from telemetry, not CAPS LOCK ON posts that bad mouth the series.
My looby ran well and everyong enjoyed their race. I set a time nearly 4 econds quicker than my qualy lap. Sorry but sometimes we don't always ge the best out of the car when it matters. I can accept that and I think that should be thought about.

hold on a min caps lock was on because it was on at the time i was posting a topic not because of any bad mouthing going on ,you seem to have miss read my topic there MATE !!and it was my oppinion when i said that about the brit gt and as far as i am aware oppinions where there to be had by all.
Whats the point in going to all the trouble of setting a fast qually time to be just put in to a slower lobby hows that supposed to be closer raceing you should fill up the lobbys that will bring closer raceing.

You have to understand Kris, that if i fill up the lobbies, with 17 people, that means;

Lobby 1: 8 people
Lobby 2: 8 people
Lobby 3: 1 person

Not sure about you, but lobby 3 wont be very entertaining.......

Please dont get too frustrated, these things happen. I am sure that in the next race, you will get back into the top lobby

Dont take your frustrations out on us though. We try to be as fair as possible....trust me

We will take this further, but we are limited as to what we can do unless you provide evidence of what has happened.

Lobbies are decided upon based on the overall number of racers and the number needed to have god lobbies in this case 6 - 6 - 5. We do not like having lobbies lower than 4.
The cut off point is what it is. You still get good points for finishing last in lobby 2!

Please post your data regaring your lobby incidents ASAP.

Whats the point in argueing about the race its done n finished i have spoken to ianmr and we have both said sorry to each other and i think we had a good race after all its only a game ............... things can onlyt get better. ha lol......

i would love to post pics and that from the race but im my discust at they way i was held up i forgot to save the replay so not much i can do now oops

I will speak to Highcroft about it, but if you are happy, then no punishment will be made either way. We do however need to look at it just to warn people about driving errors etc so that EVERYONE can learn from it.

yeah no probs i have picked up my dummy now i spat it a far old distance let me tell you lol and jenson dont be so hasty to judge me im not that good with pcs n didnt know caps was on......

im on kris s side here. I have made some championships in my time some [LANGUAGE! - Mod Squad] some not but we have to have a system of good racing.
everything cannot be about qualifying ok!
theres is my theory

why dont everyone that joins give them a test against someone who is a clean driver
the two people have the same car
If the tesed person hits or rubs three or 4 times tell him to have a practise or something to make be on his way
if he does pass this test give him a testing race with 2 or three others to find out his skills..........

I wasnt going to announce this yet, but thought i would bring it up anyway.

I agree from what executionerghost is saying, and what i have planned for next season, is sort of a training shcool. We will be implementing rolling starts for next season, and many people are unaware of what these are. So, before next season starts, the BGTA will be running like a training school which everyone must attend so we know people are able to do it. It wont be anything serious, maybe 5 mins to show them how to do it, then another 5 mins to make sure you can do it.

Going on from what executionerghost was saying, we can probably add something like that to it as well. Maybe think of it like Gran Turismo, and the tests you have to do before being allowed to do certain races. This is something the mods will really be talking about before the start of next season. Any ideas are more than welcome for this!

If it helps the series then all the beter but like ianmr said these things happen and i agree as alot of you know im mr nicey nicey i try to race fair but accidents happen ianmr and i have spoken and both said sorry and i accept that i would like to say well done to ianmr for a good race win and vortex and highcroft for some good close raceing ....... thanks guys.kris.

Well, i am rather annoyed from my race. Stealth's controller ran out of batty, and so his car parked up on track. Of course everyone is too nice to give out a warning, so i ended up slamming into him. Then shortly after, Luckier kindly said, 'What happened to Stealth?'......yeah great timing there LUckier.....

These things happen, and are impossible to eliminate. We just need to be more aware to prevent these things.
